We Bring Everything.
We want to make having dental anesthesia in your office as easy as possible. SDA always brings our own state-of-the-art equipment to your practice, and assume full responsibility for maintaining, managing, and controlling all of our anesthesia-related equipment. All dental anesthesiologists participate in state-specific inspections for all mobile equipment, pharmaceuticals, and supplies.

We bring our practice to yours.
No additional state permits are required by your dental office for the doctors at SDA to provide anesthesia. All providing doctors with SDA have mobile dental anesthesia permits in addition to dental licenses. All doctors with SDA maintain up to date dental malpractice insurance with anesthesia speciality status.

Ease of Billing.
Scottsdale Dental Anesthesia can facilitate payment several ways. SDA offers direct to patient billing, where we gather all of the necessary patient information in order to bill them directly for our services. Your office will not need to worry about patient invoices. SDA will also accept payment from dental offices directly if preferred.
Dental Anesthesia Types and Descriptions.

Anxiolytic Sedation
This type of anesthesia is provided by dentists and dental anesthesiologists to patients who are mildly anxious. Patients with this anesthesia type are still conscious, can breath completely normally and airway intervention is rarely required. This type of anesthesia requires a certain level of patient cooperation.
Moderate (conscious) Sedation.
This type of anesthesia is provided by dental anesthesiologists to patients who are mildly anxious, but still desire to remain semi-conscious for their dental care. Patients with this anesthesia type may or may not fall asleep throughout the dental procedure, breathing can become interrupted and may require moderate intervention. This type of anesthesia requires a certain level of patient cooperation.


Deep Sedation/ General Anesthesia
This type of anesthesia is provided by dental anesthesiologists to patients who are extremely anxious, or when the complexity of a patients dental treatment and/or medical history warrants. Patients with this anesthesia type are 100% asleep throughout the dental procedure, breathing is to be under the direct care of the dental anesthesiologist and is monitored continuously. Certain medical parameters can prevent patients from being candidates for this type of anesthesia.
